Little Echo
Alima Hassan, daughter of Ines and Maleek Hassan, comes from a family with deep knowledge and passion for teas and spices, a trade rooted in Moroccan traditions. Alima learned to blend and balance exotic flavours for North American tastes and now aims to modernize her parents' business while preserving its authenticity.
The primary goal of this project was to communicate the company’s dedication to sparking curiosity about Moroccan products by seamlessly bridging the past and present. To support this vision, the visual design blends a Western aesthetic with traditional Moroccan graphic elements.
Drawing inspiration from the intricate markings of the Berber people and the vibrant spice dunes that characterize Moroccan markets, the packaging features warm colors and delicate patterns. These elements evoke a rich cultural heritage while creating a visually captivating experience.
The typography and color palette add a contemporary edge, reflecting the brand’s unique position as Vancouver’s modern exotic. This thoughtful combination of design elements not only honors Moroccan tradition but also establishes a fresh and engaging identity that appeals to a diverse audience.
